4. Data processing by third party services we use for our website

As users of the services of Squarespace Inc. and its hosting services we have entered into a contract for commissioned processing. This means that wWe share all collected information with Squarespace.
4.2 Matomo
We use Matomo (formerly Piwik) for web analytics, a service provided by InnoCraft Ltd, 150 Willis St, 6011 Wellington, New Zealand, NZBN 6106769. The protection of your data is important to us, which is why we have additionally configured Matomo in such a way that your IP address is only recorded in shortened form. 4.3 PayPal
We use the payment services of PayPal (Europe) S.à rl et Cie, SCA, 22-24 Boulevard Royal, L-2449 Luxembourg. 5. Contact form or E-Mail
If you contact us e.g. by phone, email (e.g. via contact@temamagazine.com), post, by using our contact forms on our website or in any other way with a request, we do process your personal data, e.g. your name, address, telephone number as well as the content of the message. These details are processed for the purpose of being able to handle your request. Your data will only be used to the extent necessary for this purpose. The legal basis for the processing of the data described above is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b GDPR, insofar as this is connected with the initiation or fulfilment of a contract with you, or based on Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR, as we have a legitimate interest in corresponding with you for business purposes.
Communication data will be deleted as far as they are no longer necessary for the exchange with you and legal retention periods have expired.
6. Newsletter
On our website we offer you the possibility to register for our newsletter. The newsletter is created by Squarespace Email Campaigns, the built-in email marketing feature of our website host Sqaurespace. E-mail addresses are stored in mailing lists within our site, but the information is not shared with Squarespace.
6.1 What information do I share with you if I sign up for the newsletter ?
First of all, we ensure that you really want to subscribe to your newsletter by using the so-called double opt-in procedure. After you have entered your e-mail address on the banner on our website, we will send you a confirmation link. You will only be added to the distribution list, if you click on this link. At this point, the processing of your electronic contact data is based solely on your consent and the only information you share with us is your e-mail address.

6.2 Is it possible to unsubscribe from the newsletter?
You can revoke your consent at any time. For this purpose, it is sufficient to send us a short note via e-mail or click on the "unsubscribe" button at the end of the newsletter. Once you unsubscribe or inform us about your decision to unsubscribe, we will delete your personal data. It will also be deleted from the servers of our service provider.
